Most of his photo stories reflect Egyptian life outside Cairo, where people suffer from the lack of public services. In order to find those stories, he spends most of his time traveling across the country.

Starting his career as a reporter, Mohamed was passionate about finding interesting stories that touched readers. He soon noticed that even good writing went unread without photographs to help tell the story visually. That realization led him to focus more on photojournalism and how a photographer can tell the whole story without words.</text>

Lives in Cairo. Imbued with his distinctive delicacy, Denis Dailleux’s photographic work appears calm on the surface, yet is incredibly demanding, run through by an undercurrent of constant self-doubt and propelled by the essential personal bond he develops with those (and that which) he frames with his camera.

His passion for people has naturally led him to develop portraiture as his preferred means of representing those whose true self he feels an urge to get closer to. Which he has, with actress Catherine Deneuve as well as with countless anonymous subjects from the slums of Cairo, working with the same discretion, waiting to get from his subjects what he is hoping they will offer him, without ever asking for it, simply hoping that it will happen. That is how he has patiently constructed a unique portrait of his beloved Cairo to create, with black and whites of exemplary classicism and colors of rare subtlety, the definite alternative to the heaps of cultural and touristic clichés which clutter our minds.</text>

<text>Monia Lippi was born near Bologna, Italy. From her formal education in Interior Design in Milan, she arrived to photography and video through different experiences in Italy, Paris, and New York. She has been living and working in New York since 2005.

She started to participate in numerous group shows. Several independent and collaborative entries have been included in a number of Italian and German international film festivals and expositions.

Her main cultural influences come from the Italian and European arts, particularly architecture, painting, theater, and cinema, as well as general interest in archeology and anthropology. She also has always been interested in the versatility of the U.S. American landscapes, cityscapes, their cultural identities and how different life-styles reflect themselves in architecture. Exploring different places and environments she developed many personal projects, shooting on 6x9cm medium format film and showing series of large C-Prints, of the “Nocturnal Brooklyn”, “Doors”, “The Last Vintage American Cars”, “Floating Winona” and other projects.

Then in digital, she started the aerial series “At 36000 Feet” of the Southwest American deserts and more of her community projects, with particular environment, history, identity and issues that have been shown in many different exhibitions in many cities in the US and Europe, like Italy, Germany, Spain. Like the series “Chou Doc Stilts”, “Floating Cat Ba” and “White Skin”, shot in Vietnam, 2015 and then in the south of Egypt with “Aswan”, ”Gharb Soheil: relocated Nubian Village” and more projects also in Luxor in 2018.</text>
